Sensei Jon Everhart My name is Jon Everhart. I have studied martial arts for the past several years, most recently under the instruction of Sensei Robert Valentine and Sensei Joe Wagner. My school is the Southern Tang Soo Do Martial Arts Studio, located on Tobacco Road in Augusta, GA. I have been homeschooled since kindergarten and I am currently a highschool senior. When I was 9, a martial arts class was offered to homeschoolers that started my martial arts training in Chun Kuk Do. I acquired a belt, but decided to change my training to a more practical style of martial arts called Southern Tang Soo Do. Recently, on September 13, 2008, I was invited to test for Black Belt, 1st Dan (1st Degree). The photo gallery, in the left menu, documents how I spent a very exhausting Saturday, and earned my Black Belt. I am continuing my training and anticipate testing for my 2nd Dan Black Belt in September of 2OlO. I plan to continue my martial arts studies as a career. In my free time I enjoy restoring old vehicles; just ask me about my Camaros and you will find my passion. The studio, Southern Tang Soo Do Martial Arts, where I train and teach is located at 2007 Tobacco Road, Augusta, Georgia. I currently teach both a day and evening class, to a wide variety of age groups and physical abilities.
